What would you do with the last few days of your life? Jesus invested His last days on others; clearing the temple, preparing his disciples, and fulfilling many prophecies. A pretty full agenda!
The purpose of the anchor is to provide temporary support to maintain a steady location. It may be time to put it into port and resupply. Perhaps there is a need to suspend sailing and utilize the benefits of the location you are presently in. But the anchor is not put out for normal sailing activity, it would make sailing nearly impossible.
Just as I treat my children differently now that they are grown, so has God entered into a new era of relationship with us, post Jesus. Now that the burden of sin has been satisfied, through Jesus' sacrifice we live in grace.
